Montefalco is a girls’ school that was built among the ruins of an old hacienda in the region of Morelos. The founders of the school wanted to create a school that would form students in personal growth, the spiritual life and the highest academic standards. The school was founded in 1958 with the goal of giving lower income girls in the region a better chance to improve their own lives through education and Christian values.
The school has three levels of education: primary, secondary and high school degrees in business administration. The school also offers classes for parents, professional and women in the region. Some of these classes include: home-making, cleaning, cooking. For the girls in the school, there are sports teams, computer classes, art, dance and music.
The school has an annual enrollment of over 500 girls every year. They are in the middle of a campaign to raise more funds for the school.
